Holy crap I was just nearly hit by a car.

Okay, here's the scoop. It's been raining recently, so the roads are wet. I'm heading into campus to hand in my assignment. The light turns green for pedestrians; I start crossing. Then, as I'm in the road, I hear the grinding noise of tire on wet road, and then all of a sudden there's a car right in front of me. I was literally one step away from being flattened, and I could see the expression of the guy driving as he frantically tried to stop.

No adrenaline, no shrieking, just... utter calm. I think I stopped walking as I heard the screech, which is interesting considering I had my headphones in, and I usually walk to the beat of the music. Good thing I keep my volume low enough to hear things, ey? Everyone who was crossing the road with me was kinda horrified, and couldn't believe I was still okay.

So, to everyone who's praying for me to have a safe trip tomorrow, just like to let you know that your prayers were preemptively answered.

I'm not full of rage, really. I only act that way on the internet :)

There will be words...

Okay, I haven't used this blog in a while but I really need a rant space.

GYAAAAAAAARRRRGH.

My American housemates will eat anything that isn't nailed down. Box of chocolates that I brought FROM CANADA? Half gone before I had to take them out of the fridge and hide them in my room. A whole container of cookies made specially for me to take into uni on wednesday and thursday, numbering 100 in total? I woke up this morning and there's TEN LEFT. TEN. OUT OF A HUNDRED.

Seriously, guys, what the smurf?

I'm going to have a word with them this afternoon about what they can and cannot eat. Also, I will suggest to them that THEY SHOULD ACTUALLY GO SHOPPING AND BUY FOOD INSTEAD OF SPENDING IT ALL ON DRINKS EVERY NIGHT.

Girls, you can play music and talk loudly until 11pm and keep me awake, FINE WHATEVER. You can make a mess of the bathroom. You can get drunk and passed out in the city every night like you've been doing so far. I don't care.

BUT YOU. DO. NOT. EVER. EAT. MY. FOOD.

I'm such a friggin tard.

Okay, I had an exam today. It went for 2:00 hours. I saw that on my timetable and went 'oh that must mean it is at two'. WRONG. It was at 9:30AM.

GYAAAAGH.

Thank God that I have such an awesome lecturer who is letting me write a catch-up essay to make up for the 40% of marks that I would have gotten in the exam.

Now, if you'll excuse me, I have 100% of "40% of my total grade"'s worth of essay writing to do.
